Indiantown

Indiantown is an unincorporated town in central Palm Beach County, Florida. The population was 3,816 at the 2010 census. It includes a section of West Gate Condominiums and the Indian Trace Golf Course.

Located in the West Palm Beach area, it has a population of 2,000 people and sits on 15 square miles. Its name is derived from the Seminole Indian word for “place where there are trees.” The town was originally settled by white settlers who constructed villages along Lake Okeechobee to trade with the Seminoles that had moved into South Florida during the 1850s.
